Lakeland, FL – George G. Killebrew, age 85, died Saturday, February 16, 2019, in Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Killebrew, born in Louisville, had lived in Warner Robins before moving to Lakeland, FL seventeen years ago. He was the son of the late George Dudley and Annie Mae Bailey Killebrew. He was a retired TSgt from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service and was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Tennille Masonic Lodge and Victory Assembly of God in Lakeland, FL.

Survivors are his wife, Rubye W. Killebrew of Lakeland, FL; his children, Tim (Anne) Killebrew of Sandersville, Steven Davis of Rebie and Doug (Sandi) Davis of Warner Robins, Tammy (Paul) Osgood of Centerville and Cathy (Mike) Sanders of Alexandria, VA; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family is at 168 Paula Drive, Cochran and will greet friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
