Cochran – George "Buddy" William Davis, age 73, died Tuesday, November 06, 2018, at his home after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. in Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon.

Mr. Davis was from Macon and had lived in Cochran for the last 15 years. He was the son of the late William Michael and Edna Virginia Hall Davis. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Davis Mills and his nephews, Kevin Mills and Eric Mills. A US Navy Veteran, He was a diesel mechanic for many years and worked at Robins Air Force Base as a machinist.

Survivors are his wife, Geraldine E. Lamb Davis of Cochran; stepdaughters Debra (Johnny) Lucas and Sherra (Joe Carmichael) Collins of Montrose; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The Family is at 1954 W Chicken Rd. Cochran, GA and will greet friends after the service at the cemetery.
