Cochran – Geraldine L. "Gerri" Fennell, age 87, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service Tuesday at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Gerri was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late William Augustus "Gus" and Evelyn Ira Hardiman Lucas and was preceded in death by her husband Leroy E. Fennell and her son Wayne Fennell. Mrs. Gerri was a retired ward clerk at Bleckley Memorial Hospital and a member of Cochran First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are her children, Elaine F. Davenport of Murfreesboro, TN, Jeff (Joni) Fennell of Powder Springs and Stacey F. Funair of Cochran; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 1872 GA Highway 26 East, Cochran.
