Cochran – Gerry Austin Lanfair, age 57, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at his residence in Cochran. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Gerry was born in Macon and was the son of the late Jerry H. Lanfair. He was a graduate of Bleckley County High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Valdosta State University. He worked as an ironworker and was a member of the Ironworkers Union. Gerry enjoyed rock climbing and especially riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Selph Lanfair of Cochran; his sister, Wendy Lanfair (Dean) Cates of Cumming; his brother, Barry (Julie) Lanfair of Cochran; his nieces and nephews, Blake Johnson, Cole Giddens, Sydney Giddens, Madison Giddens, Carson Cates, Luke Cates, and Josie Lanfair.

The family is at 140 Wood Duck Road and will greet friends after the service Wednesday in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
