Cochran – Gladys Sawyer, age 89, died Friday, July 10, 2020, in Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin. Private graveside funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2020, at 10:00 A.M. in Roddy Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Sawyer, born in Alpharetta, GA, had lived in Marietta before moving to Cochran in 1983. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Alice Bryant Reece. She was retired from the Lovable Company in Atlanta and had served as a volunteer at the Christian Life Center in Eastman for 20 years. Mrs. Gladys was a member of Roddy Baptist Church and was a Sunday School Teacher.

Survivors are her husband, William L. "Strib" Sawyer of Cochran and extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
