Chester- Glenda Sue Allen Dunlap, Age 70, passed away on August 21, 2024, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the Rowland Family Cemetery in Chester.

Glenda was born in Bleckley County on December 20, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Franklin and Nettie Jo Horton Allen and was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Allen. She had worked at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home as an event coordinator. Glenda loved gardening and spending time with her family. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent most of her time taking care of her son Joey.

She is survived by her children, Mark Holland of Chester, Chris (Tina) Holland of Laurens County, Brian (Tasha) Altman of Chester, Joey Salaz, Jr. of Chester and Jeffery (Dana) Salaz of Cochran; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Wallace (Barbara) Allen, Johnnie Allen, Frankie Allen and Brandie Allen and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service on Friday at Rowland Family Cemetery.
