Danville – Helen Bozeman Boyd, age 69, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at her residence. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in Elsharath Missionary Baptist Church in Twiggs County. The family will greet friends after the service Tuesday at the church.

Helen, born in Macon, had lived most of her life in Twiggs County and was the daughter of the late Roy and Geneva Rogers Bozeman. She was a 1974 graduate of Twiggs Academy and a graduate of Middle Georgia College School of Nursing. She was an RN, having worked at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe in Macon and Bleckley Memorial Hospital in Cochran. Helen was a member of Elsharath Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Jennifer (Drew) Purvis and Chris (Ali Wellman) Boyd all of Danville; her grandchildren, Sara, Isabella, Elnora, Delyla and James; her great grandboys, Jaxon, Julian and Bodie; her sister, Juanita (Eddie) Moore of Danville; her brother, Harold (Melinda) Bozeman of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 501 Harvey Branch Road, Danville.
