Cochran – Helen Holland Hobbs, age 94, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024, in At Home Senior Living in Cochran. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Helen, born in Bleckley County, was the daughter of the late Willie Bertice and Pearl Greene Holland and was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Hobbs and her brother, Jackie Holland and her nephew-in-law, Kenny Bryant. She was her class valedictorian at Chester High School, a homemaker and loved animals, especially cats. Mrs. Helen was the oldest member of Macedonia Baptist Church and loved the Lord Jesus.

Survivors are her nieces and nephews, Larry (Kathy) Hobbs, Barbara Bryant, Shirley (J.D.) Wright all of Cochran and Aubrey (Linda) Smith of Chester; several cousins, great nieces and great nephews

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 1100 Macedonia Church Road, Cochran, GA 31014

The family is at 2074 Nicholson-Carr Road, Chester and will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service Wednesday at Macedonia Baptist Church.
