Cochran – Herman L. Wynne, age 82, died Friday, February 4, 2022, in Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wynne was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County. He was the son of the late William Leonard Wynne and Estelle Powell Wynne and Morris Davis. He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Wynne and his brother, Willard Wynne. Mr. Herman was retired from Robins Air Force Base and built houses for many years after. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and traveling. Mr. Herman was a member and deacon of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Ivalene Davis Wynne of Cochran; his children, Robin (Mickey) Chase of Ft. Meyers, FL and Ted (Marcia) Wynne of Social Circle; his grandchildren, Amanda Newman of Eastman, Austin (Lindsay) Wynne of Covington and Calin (Loren) Saddler of Covington; his great grandchildren, Kayt Dahman, Beckett and Brighton Saddler and Elaina Grace Wynne (Austin and Lindsay) grandbaby, due later this month; his brother, Harvey (Sandra) Wynne of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
