Eastman – Irene Daniels Woodard, age 94, died Saturday, July 7, 2018, in the Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Solid Rock Church of God in Eastman. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Eastman.

Mrs. Woodard, born in Twiggs County, had lived most of her life in Cochran before moving to Eastman. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Sr. and Mary Long Jackson and the wife of the late Wilbon Woodard. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Richard Lyn Daniels, Jaxson Jones and Natasha Daniels and by two sisters and seven brothers. She was a retired CNA from Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman, former employee at L&H Shirt Factory in Cochran, C&J Shirt Factory in Eastman and BellSouth. She was a member of Solid Rock Church of God.

Survivors are her children, Steve (Patricia) Daniels of Cochran, Chris (Roger) Sheffield of Vidalia, Billy Ray (Joy) Daniels of Macon, Randy Daniels and Jesse Daniels of Eastman and Teresa (Randy) Jones of Milan; her sister, Hilda Fowler of Griffin; her brother, Herschel Jackson of Danville; her sisters-in-law, Ann Jackson of Danville and Jean Jackson of Macon; seventeen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 179 Wood Duck Rd., Cochran and will greet friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
