Roddy – Jack M. Jones, age 67, died Saturday, July 25, 2020, in the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Funeral services will be private. A drive by visitation will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Jones residence 1877 West Chicken Road, Roddy Community, Cochran. Please honk your horn in honor of Jack.

Jack was a lifelong resident of Roddy. He was the son of the late Matthew Marion and Nanette Harrell Jones. He was a cattle rancher, farmer and was a former Farmer of the Year. He was a 1971 graduate of Cochran High School and a member of Roddy Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Sherry Jones of Cochran; daughter, Mandy (Jack) White of Eastman; his grandchildren, Katherine (Donald) Helms, Abigail (Travis) Muncher, Ashely White, Jolee Schrader and Trace White; his sisters, Suenette (Dan) Dill of Clarkesville, Gretel (Lee) Tidmore of Dahlonega, and Lesa (David) Shoe of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
