Hawkinsville - James David Daniels, age 68, passed away Saturday, November 25,2023 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. Graveside memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in Bowers Cemetery.

James, born in Wilcox County, had lived most of his life in Cochran before moving to Hawkinsville. He was the son of the late Harold Daniels and preceded in death by his stepfather, William H. "Bill" Perkins and his brother, Jeffery Perkins. James was a 1974 graduate of Cochran High School. He started his career at Little Ford in Cochran and worked for 20 years for J.M. Huber Corporation as a senior dragline operator. He became a truck driver and then pursued owning his own business D & D Seafood.

Survivors are his two sons, Michael Daniels and Derrick Daniels; his mother, Martha Jane Perkins; his brother, Randall Perkins.

The family will be at 487 Cannon Rd. Hawkinsville and will greet friends after the service Tuesday at Bowers Cemetery.
