Obituary

James Stanley Fuller, Sr., a devoted father and grandfather, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the age of 75, after a courageous battle with dementia. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens, 1080 GA Highway 26 West, Cochran, Georgia.

Stanley was born in Orlando, Florida, and was the son of James Floyd "Bubba" Fuller and Helen Norris Hinson. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a proud veteran before returning to Macon, Georgia.

Stanley embodied a passion for life and had a remarkable gift for bringing smiles to those around him. His love for baseball propelled him into a fulfilling career as a personal pitching coach in professional baseball. He was deeply committed to his family. Even as dementia impacted his later years, his sense of humor and love remained unwavering.

Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his father, Bubba Fuller; his brother, Gary Fuller; and his sister, Vicki Hinson.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Fuller; his children, James Stanley, Jr. (Crystal) and Kathryn Nicole Ramsbottom (Billy); his beloved grandchildren, Wyatt, Cale, London, and Tres and his mother, Helen Norris Hinson.

Stanley's spirit and cherished memories will forever illuminate the hearts of all who loved him.
