Cochran – James E. "Jimmy" Kennedy, age 62, died Thursday, July 28, 2022, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be private.

Jimmy, born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late James Elmer and Jean Brookered Kennedy and was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Kennedy. Jimmy was a 1978 graduate of Bleckley County High School and was a cabinet maker and carpenter.

Survivors are his sister, Kaye Brennaman of Cochran; his brother, Ronnie Kennedy of Seattle, WA; several nieces and nephews including Brandon Brennaman of Connecticut
