Cochran – Jeanette Dykes Thomas, age 75, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, in Bryant Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Garden.

Mrs. Thomas was born and had lived most of her life in Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late John Welch, Jr. and Edith Stembridge Dykes and the wife of the late David Lorraine Thomas. Jeanette was a homemaker and had worked at L&H Shirt Factory. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sons, John E. Thomas and Robert L. (Lori) Thomas of Cochran; her brothers, John Welch (Joy) Dykes, III of Dublin and Rene (Judy) Dykes of Cochran; her niece and nephews.

The family is at 109 Jeanette Street and will greet friends after the service Saturday at Mathis Funeral Home.
