Roddy – Jeffrey Neal Lister, age 56, died Friday, May 25, 2018, at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 28, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Roddy Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roddy Community Cemetery.

Jeff, never straying far from home, lived his entire life on a family farm in Roddy. He was a graduate of Dodge County High School and South Georgia Technical College. He was a master diesel mechanic for over 30 years and was employed by E.R. Snell Contractor, Inc. as a mechanic supporting the I-16/I-75 interchange in Macon. Previous employers include Yancy Brothers, Appling Brothers, Oconee Concrete and Central Georgia Technical College, where he served as diesel truck maintenance instructor at Telfair State Prison.

Survivors are his son Justin Lister of Perry; his parents, Darvon and Shirley Lister of Roddy; his brother, Gary (Lynne) Lister of Bonaire; his sister, Tonya (Darrell) Kemp of Eastman and nieces and nephews.

The family is at 2681 Roddy Highway and will greet friends, Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
