Eastman – Jennifer Scott, age 53, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in Dodge County Hospital. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Jennifer, born in Screven County, GA had lived in Cochran before moving to Eastman a few years ago. She was preceded in death by her father, Jackson E. "Jack" Scott. Jennifer was a graduate of Bleckley County High School (Class of 1986), Middle Georgia College (Class of 1988) and Georgia College (Class of 1990), where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a former Special Needs Teacher and had worked at Family Dollar.

Survivors are her mother, Shirley B. Scott of Cochran; her sister, Connie (Greg) Brown of Howard; her niece, Bethani (Stephen) McNelly of Columbus and her nephews, Brian Brown and Will Brown of Howard; great niece and nephew, Georgia Reese and Hunter McNelly.

The family will greet friends after the service Thursday at Mathis Funeral Home.
