Cochran – John Edward Edmundson, age 75, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020, in Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Edmundson, born in Altoona, PA, had lived in Bradenton, FL before moving to Cochran 13 years ago. He was the son of the late George Leroy and Reta Elizabeth Moyer Edmundson and was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Marie Clapper. He was a retired carpenter from Tropicana in Bradenton, FL. and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cochran. Mr. John loved music and had sang in several southern gospel quartets.

Survivors are his wife, Arlene Davis Edmundson of Cochran; his daughter, Elizabeth Clapper of Cochran; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; his sister, Dorothy Eash of Duncansville, PA; several nieces and nephews.
