Cochran – John Sylvin Little, Jr., age 66, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sylvin, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of his life in Cochran and had lived in Flowery Branch for 10 years. He was the son of the late John Sylvin "Joe", Sr. and Vera Evelyn Fowler "Sue" Little. Sylvin was an outstanding pro softball player playing in the highest level of competition around the country. Sylvin was inducted into the Georgia Softball Hall of Fame. He was self-employed.

Survivors are his companion, Robin Foster Jarrard of Cochran; stepson, Chase Jarrard of Flowery Branch; his sister, Luann Brewer of Danville; his nephew, Adam Brewer of Douglas; his niece, Kaitlin Brewer of Roddy.

The family is at 643 Pea Ridge Road, Danville and will greet friends Friday, June 27, 2025, from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
