Cochran – John Edward Teagle, age 87, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, in Memorial Hospital in Savannah. Memorial services will be held Monday, November 27, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Mr. John, born in Cordele, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Isaac S. and Bernice Price Teagle and was preceded in death by his son Rene Teagle. Mr. John was owner and operator of Teagle's Garage and Teagle's Service Station. He had worked at Webb Chevrolet and Ben Jessup Ford. Mr. John was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Kathy Teagle of Cochran; his children, J.P. (Pam) Teagle, Ute Fisher, Margaret Hester and Linda (Terry) Conyer all of Cochran; daughter-in-law, Ginger Teagle; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; his sisters, Doris Miller of Austin, TX and Sharon (Homer) Cross of Byron; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
