Danville – Johnny P. Humphries, age 80, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Memorial services will be held Monday, January 15, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnny was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County. He was the son of the late Charlie B. and Maude Mae Williams Humphries. He was hired in 1966 at J.M. Huber Corporation and retired after 30 years of service. Mr. Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking and loved his family.

Survivors are his wife, Ammie A. Humphries of Danville; his children, Lamar Humphries of Danville, Angel (Ben) Pennington of Ft. Worth, TX and Eric (Summerly) Humphries of Cochran; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Jacob) Soler, Elizabeth Price, Benjamin Pennigton, Leighton Humphries, Emerson Humpries and Anderson Humphries; five great grandchildren; his sister, Martha Clarke of Gray; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 508 Creekside Rd, Danville and will greet friends after the service Monday at Mathis Funeral Home.
