Cochran – Johnny Pettis, age 61, died Sunday, October 14, 2018, in Serenity Hospice in Dublin. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Johnny, a lifelong resident of Cochran, was the son of the late Elton and Mavis Bryant Pettis. He was former owner and operator of Crossroads II and had worked at J. M. Huber Corporation. He was a 1975 graduate of Cochran High School and a Baptist.

Survivors are his daughter, Ashley (Travis) Walker of Dublin; former wife Anne Asbell Pettis of Cochran; step-son Chris Horne of Demorest; his brother, Bobby (Connie) Pettis of Cochran; his sister, Sheila Pettis Ingram of Cochran; three step-grandchildren.

The family is at 187 NeSmith Road and will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. until time for the service Tuesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
