Empire – Johnny B. "Randy" Bowman, age 72, died Wednesday, December 11, 2019, in Memorial Medical Center in Savannah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019, at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery.

Mr. Bowman, a lifelong resident of Dodge County, was the son of the late Daniel and Willie Adkins Bowman and was one of sixteen siblings. He was retired from J.M. Huber. Randy loved dirt track car racing and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He attended Chester Church of God.

Survivors are his wife, Sallie Perdue Bowman of Empire; his children, Kenny (Elaine) Bowman of McRae, LaDawn (Craig) Rycroft of East Bend, NC, Rhonda (Philip) Fordham of Cochran and Wanda (Emory) Howell of Empire; grandchildren, April (Joey) Garner, Dillan Benson, Cierra Benson, Michael (Kelsey) Howell, Rebecca Howell, Macey Rycroft, Zack Fordham and Hunter Fordham; five great grandchildren; his brothers, Earl (Sue) Bowman of Cochran, David Bowman and M.B. (Linda) Bowman of Hawkinsville; sisters, Polly Wade and Etta Craig of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 399 Empire-Chester Highway, Empire and will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at Mathis Funeral Home.
