Cochran – Joseph William Harris, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Bleckley Memorial Hospital in Cochran.

Joseph was born on November 11, 1957, in Birmingham, AL. He was the son of the late George Brian and Arlene Nobles Harris and was preceded in death by his siblings, George Robert Harris, Patricia Ann Boggs and Brian Harris.  Joseph spent his childhood in Titusville, FL. He attended Astronaut High School. He was retired from Nelson Engineering Company where he worked as a telephone engineer. Joseph loved the outdoors and couldn't stand being inside for too long. He enjoyed grilling, having fish fries and building furniture. You would always find him outside doing something unless his beloved Miami Dolphins or Florida Gators were on the television. Joesph would help people in need whenever he could. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends that he impacted through the years.

Survivors are his wife, Martha Ann Bell Harris of Cochran; his children, Joseph Robert "Joey" (Michelle) Harris and Ashley Harris both of Cochran; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; his brother-in-law, Douglas Bell and several nieces and nephews.
