Cochran- Joseph Seth Payne, age 16, died Thursday, October 15, 2020, from injuries received in an auto accident. Private funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. in Roddy Baptist Church. Burial will be at Bowers Cemetery following the funeral service and is open to the public.

Seth, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the grandson of the late Robyn Gore Mullis. Seth was a junior at Bleckley County High School and loved fishing. He was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church in Dodge County.

Survivors are his parents, Carlisa Wynne (Chris) Campo of Cochran and Joey (Karen) Payne of Milan; his sister, Addison Payne of Eastman; his grandparents, Joey Payne of Eastman, Patsy Holder of Ashburn, Herman Mullis of Empire and Ann Campo of Houma, LA; his great aunt and uncle, Teresa and Paul Clauson of Macon; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family is at 157 Dana Lane, Cotton Ridge Subdivision, Cochran and will greet friends Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
