Cochran – Joyce Holland Dykes, age 89, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Emmett and Allie Lee Hall Holland and was the wife of the late Benny M. Dykes. Mrs. Joyce was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Philis Wynne, Philipar (Everett) Nobles, Regenia (Ricky) Giddens and Emily (Rusty) Lloyd all of Cochran; grandchildren, Erin (Gary) Witherington, Cody (Jessica) Giddens, Megan (Brandon) Sanders, Meri Elizabeth (Jordan) Floyd, Allie (Bill) Magallana and Ein NeSmith; fourteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2024, at Mathis Funeral Home.
