Cochran – Joyce Mullis Osborne, age 78, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, in Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Giddens-Harrell Cemetery in Dodge County.

Joyce, born in Dodge County, had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Hubert Jackson and Ruby Odell Buchanan Mullis and was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Mullis and Ann McGlamory. Joyce was a retired pharmacy technician and nurse from Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin. She was a 1963 graduate of Dodge County High School and a graduate of Middle Georgia College Nursing School. Joyce was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors are her son, Eric Osborne of Cochran; her grandchildren, Kelbi (Neal) Mullis, Kyle Osborne and Keri Ann Osborne; great grandchildren Walker Mullis and Olivia Osborne; her sisters, Rosemary White of Cochran and Vicki (Pete) Deeson of Hawkinsville; her brothers, Larry (Doris) Mullis of Eastman and Stanley (Sandy) Mullis of Ypsilanti, MI; several nieces and nephews.
