Cochran – Juanita "Nita" Fowler Lord, age 86, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, in Bryant Nursing and Rehab Center in Cochran. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Mrs. Nita, born in Dodge County, had lived in Cochran since 1982. She was the daughter of the late James Elton and Eunice Wells Peacock and the wife of the late Riley "Bud" Fowler and Benjamin Thompson Lord. She was an RN having worked at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Mrs. Nita was a member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Kevin (Cynthia) Fowler of Cochran and Cheryl (Dennis) Carr of Suwanee; grandchildren, Whitney Lombardi, Kevin D. Fowler, Jr., Matthew Fowler, Amanda Fowler and Julianne Fowler; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 109 Mullis-White Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Cool Springs Church Cemetery.
