Rochelle – Judy Johnson Teston, age 76, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at her residence in Rochelle. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Rebie. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Judy was born in Laurens County, on February 23, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Mullis Johnson and was preceded in death by her sister, Montine Birdsong. She was a graduate of Cochran High School, Class of 1966. She had worked for Bellsouth as a switch operator. Judy enjoyed doing word searches, jigsaw puzzles and looking on Facebook. She also loved to watch Wheel of Fortune and listening to gospel music. She was a member of Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors are her son, T.J. (Tammy Strickland) Walden of Rochelle; her sisters, Rachel (Buddy) Horne of Cochran and Lynette Holmes of Cochran; her brothers, Jack (Jimmy Faye) Johnson of Cochran and Johnny (Gloria) Johnson of Unadilla; her grandchildren, Sabra Adriana Leggett and Terry A. Walden, III and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service on Monday at Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
