Bleckley County – Karen Elizabeth White, age 56, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Valentines Day, February 14, 2020 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 17, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Karen, born in Macon, GA, had lived most of her life in Bleckley County. She was a 1981 graduate of Bleckley County High School, a graduate of Middle Georgia College and The Medical College of Georgia. Karen was a Medical Technologist having worked at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin and Carl Vinson Veterans Medical Center in Dublin. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Karen had a kind and generous spirit, taking great pleasure in giving gifts to her family and friends.

Survivors are her parents, Emmett and June White of Bleckley County; her sisters, Pam (Jeff) Leddy of Indialantic, FL and Emily White Whaley of Warner Robins; nieces and nephews, Megan (Jeremy) Painter, Jarrod (Gaby) Leddy, Morgan (Nathan) Julsonnet and Chelsea Whaley; great nieces and nephews, Hudson, Hannah, Azula and Nicholas; her aunt, Hazel Battle of Macon and her beloved cats.

The family is at 1139 Highway 278 in Bleckley County and will greet friends one hour before the service Monday at Salem Baptist Church.
