Cochran – Keith Martin, age 72, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends Monday, October 5, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Keith, born in Detroit, Michigan, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Donald Raymond Martin and Doris Sikes Martin. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Blake Martin, and his sister, Donna Martin Roy.

Keith was a 1972 graduate of Cochran High School and later graduated from Georgia College in Milledgeville. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. In his professional life, he retired as Executive Director of the Cochran Housing Authority and was also the owner and operator of Keith Martin Maintenance. He was a member of Limestone Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Debbie Brown Martin of Cochran; his children, Brian (Jessica) Martin and Blake (Carolyn) Martin all of Cochran; his grandchildren, Mackenzie (Seth) Watson, Dawson Martin, Sara (Caiden) Sanders, Karli Martin and Ellie Martin; great grandchild, Maddox Watson; his brother, Randy Martin of Bonaire; his sisters, Sherry Richardson of San Antono, TX, Jan Eleazer of St. Petersburg, FL and Mary Diamond of Summerset, KY; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 323 Mac Thompson Road, Cochran.
