Cochran – Keith Jackson Purser, age 67, died Monday, May 30, 2022, in Bryant Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Keith, born in Hawkinsville, had lived all of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Henry Jackson "Jack" Purser and was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Purser and his nephew Richard Daniels. Keith had worked at Lithonia Lighting and was a former Middle Georgia College Police Officer. He was a graduate of Cochran High School and a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors are his mother, Betty Roland Purser; his sister, Lori (Randy) Thompson; nieces and nephews; Ross Thompson, Loran Thompson, Carrie (Mike) Martucci, Devan (Trent) Garrett, Mandi (Duane) Hortman and Brandon (Emily) Purser; great nieces and nephews, Lena Daniels, Kade Martucci, Autumn Martucci, Summer Martucci, Michael Garrett, Purser Garrett, Sawyer Garrett and Seth Garrett.

The family is at 718 GA Highway 126 E, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Thursday at Mathis Funeral Home.
