Chester – Kemper Holt Hosford, age 84, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at her son's home in Chester, following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends after the service Tuesday at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hosford was a lifelong resident of Dodge County. She was the daughter of the late Coleman W. and Willie Pearl Davis Holt and the wife of the late James Oliver Hosford, Sr. She was preceded in death by her sister and brothers, Ruby Jean Lampp, C.W. Holt and Albert Holt. Mrs. Kemper was a homemaker and had worked at L&H Shirt Factory. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, James O. "Buddy" (Emily) Hosford, Jr., Phillip (Brenda) Hosford and Kathy (James) Rogers all of Chester; her grandchildren, Kellie (Cam) Braswell and Brett (Chelsea) Hosford all of Chester, Collin Wimberly and Cherry Hooks both of Cochran, Brad Wright of Dexter and James (Brandi) Williams of Eastman; great grandchildren, Connor Braswell, Karsyn Braswell, Addie Wimberly, Ralie Conley, Brodie Nettles, Bristol Nettles, Gracie (Weston) Bedingfield, Olwynn Williams and Morgan Williams; her brothers, Doyle (Minnie) Holt and Argene (Judy) Holt all of Chester; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 965 Old Yonkers Road, Chester.
