Cochran – La-Rue Floyd, age 68, died Sunday, September 6, 2020, at his residence following an extended illness. Private graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 4:00 P.M. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

La-Rue, born in Dodge County, had lived most of his life in Cochran. He was the son of the late Virginia Skipper Floyd and was preceded in death by his grandson Cason La-Rue Floyd. La-Rue was retired from Churchwell Drywall.

Survivors are is wife, Brenda Fordham Floyd of Cochran; his children, Timothy (Teri) Floyd and Jason "Boochie" Floyd of Cochran, Daniel (Nicole) Floyd of Marietta and Angie Moses of Yulee, FL; grandchildren, Caleb Floyd, Brooklyn Floyd and Taylor Floyd of Cochran, Daytona Floyd and Isabelle Floyd of Douglasville, Addison Belle Warren of Eastman and Elizabeth Moses and Alexis Moses of Yulee, FL; two great grandchildren; his father and step-mother, C.A. and Alice Floyd of Cochran; his sisters, Susan (Tim) Goodwin of Hawkinsville and Katherine (Earl) Jones of Gray; his brothers, Marcus (Chyrl) Floyd of Cochran and Bruce (Peggy) Floyd of Wilmore, KY; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at 110 Ty Stokes Road, Apt. B, Cochran.
