Laura Hearn Bolden, age 81, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her residence in Macon. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Laura was born in Cochran on December 12, 1941. She was the daughter the late John Washington "Columbus" and Cecil Ione Cook Hearn and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Bolden, her brothers, Herman Hearn, Johnny Hearn, Marvin Hearn, Sidney Hearn, William Hearn and her sisters, Myrna Hearn and Ruby Meeks. She had worked as a waitress and at L&H Shirt factory. She was a Baptist.

Survivors are her daughters, Lisa Lynn (Art) Smith of Byron and Larisa Dawn Hall of Roberta; her grandchildren, Kenneth Hall, Ashley Hall, Kimberly Dennard and Travis Moss; her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Landon, Duke, Daisy and Delilah; her "special girls", Dianna, Dynamite, Pennie, Audrey and Tiffany and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is at 244 Bass-Mullis-Smith Rd and will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., Saturday, at Mathis Funeral Home.
