Empire – Lee Belflower, age 76, died Monday, October 14, 2019, in Navicent Health in Macon. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. in Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery.

Lee was a lifelong resident of Empire. He was the son of the late K.H. and Mary Ellen Floyd Belflower and was preceded in death by his grandson, Casey Don Belflower. He was retired from AT&T and a 1961 graduate of Dodge County High School. Lee was a member of Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a staff member for 20 years. He taught Adult Sunday School Class and was State Director for Men's Ministry for the Pentecostal Holiness Church from 1995 until 2002.

Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Sue Smith Belflower of Empire; his sons, Alex (Lissa) Belflower and Alan (Rochelle) Belflower of Empire; his grandchildren, Caleb Belflower, Tyler (Hannah) Belflower, Kyle (Choice) Belflower, Chris (Melissa) Belflower, Nichole Belflower and Sara (Josh) Peacock; nine great grandchildren.

The family is at 846 Bowers Cemetery Road, Cochran and will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mathis Funeral Home.
