Linda Annette Perdue

CHESTER – Linda Annette Perdue, 80, passed away November 26, 2025 at Regency Hospital.

Linda was born on December 24, 1944 in Fitzgerald, GA to Charles A. Perdue and Ruby Y.  Perdue.  Linda's greatest loves were her children, grandchildren, and music.   She had the God-given talent of being able to play music by ear.  She could also sing.  She played the piano,  organ, and accordion. She always said that as a child she could hear music playing in her head.

Linda played piano for various  churches throughout her life.  She also loved reading old books, drawing, and had a gift for writing.
She is now with her Heavenly Father who prepared a place for her at His table.  She has finally heard Him say, "Welcome Home".

She is survived by her daughter Melanie (George) Santee-McCook.   Grandsons Tyler (Sarah) Santee, and Mac (Madison) McCook. Great grandson Colton Santee.  Sister in laws,  Sudie Perdue and Joann  Rowe.  Niece Sandra King. Nephews Brent Perdue and Nathan Perdue.  Special friend Margot Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  Her two sons, Donald Charles Santee, Jr, and Michael Steven Santee.  Her two brothers, Robert Rowe, and Mark Perdue.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
