Cochran - Linda Slaughter, age 75, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024, in Bryant Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Linda was born and raised in Bleckley County. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Annie McNair Bryant and was preceded in death by her son David Slaughter, her sisters, Rachel Bryant and Marcia Hinson. She was a former employee of Lithonia Lighting Company. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother and attended Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her loving children, Jeff (Jill) Slaughter of Cochran and Jennifer (Shawn) White of Eastman; three grandchildren, Miranda Williams, Caleb Slaughter, and Logan White; several great grandchildren; her sisters, Edna (Leman) Brady, Jacklyne Smith and Becky Bryant; her brothers, Harvey (Rosa) Bryant, Billy Ray (Elaine) Bryant, and Bobby Wayne (Eva) Bryant; several nieces and nephews.

The family is at the residence of Jeff and Jill Slaughter, 120 N Lakeshore Drive, Cochran and will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. until time for the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home.
