Louise Evans Warren, age 94, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Cochran, Georgia, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Union Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on May 21, 1931, to William and Ida Mullis Evans, Louise was a lifelong resident of Cochran and a devoted member of Union Hill Baptist Church. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life and remained central to her until her final days.
Louise dedicated many years of her life working as a seamstress at the L&H Shirt Factory. Her skilled hands and diligent work ethic were well known among those who worked alongside her. Beyond her professional life, she was deeply committed to her family and community.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Jackson Warren, and her siblings Morris Evans, Mamie Sapp, Lamar Evans, Annie Laura Evans, and Betty Hatfield.
Louise leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Deborah "Debbie" (Daniel) Castillo, and Gail Mullis. She was a proud grandmother to Michelle (Steve) Miller and Jeremy (Jennifer) Knighton. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of great-grandchildren Samantha (Shayne) Conner, Aaron (Cassidy) Miller, and Jackson Knighton. She also cherished time with her great-great-grandchildren Weston Conner, Maddie Conner, and Harper Miller. Louise is also survived by one brother, Gerald Evans, along with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Louise's life was marked by quiet strength, enduring faith, and deep devotion to those she loved. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
