Cochran – Lucy Bone, age 87, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, in The Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in Faith Baptist Church. Burial will be in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Lucy, born in Cochran, was the daughter of the late Elijah and Bertha Mullis Smith. She was preceded in death by her son Wayne Sanders and an infant baby boy; brothers, James, Guyton and Monroe Smith and sisters, Gladys Smith, Effie Giddens, Montine Powell and Nell Pierce; daughter-in-law Renee Sanders Reeves. She worked at L&H Shirt Factory and ran a child care service. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Lester Bone of Cochran; children, Jackie (Sherie) Sanders and Sherry (Jason) Ledbetter both of Cochran; grandchildren Chris (Teresa) Sanders of Eastman, Brad (Sonya) Sanders of Cochran, Timothy and Jedidiah Ledbetter of Cochran, Levi and Bailee Bone of Butler, Joshua Sanders of Atlanta, Jason Sanders and Jessica Sanders of Denton, TX; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jaylee Sanders, Michael Lawson and Makayla Lucyanna Sanders, Phoenix, Elisha, and Hudson Sanders; brother Fulton (Mary) Smith of Cochran and several nieces and nephews.

The Family is at 300 N 2 ^nd St and will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Mathis Funeral Home.
