Obituary

Cochran – Luke Wilson, age 14, died Friday, March 20, 2020, from injuries received in an auto accident. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, March 23, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Luke, born in Dublin, had lived in Abbeville before moving to Cochran three years ago. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Linda and Randy Knight. Luke was a student at Bleckley County Middle School and loved Bleckley County football, basketball and weight lifting. His favorite television shows were the "Dukes of Hazzard" and "Incredible Hulk". Luke enjoyed dirt track races, tractors and log trucks. He attended Baker Baptist Church in Rentz.

Survivors are his parents, Kelly and Kelli Wilson of Cochran; his sister, Katie Curry of Cochran; grandparents, Russell and Elaine Mullis of Cochran; great grandparents, Dorothy Mullis, Fulton and Mary Smith of Cochran and Carolyn Smith of Hawkinsville; several aunts and uncles including, Rusty Mullis, Makayla (Will) Wade, Victoria Mullis, Sonya (Jason) Fordham and Ray Smith; several cousins and his pet dog Charly.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Autism Speaks at autismspeaks.org.

The family is at 216 East Lewis St., Cochran and will greet friends after the service Monday at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
