Macon – Lynita Allen Thompson, age 61, died Sunday, June 27, 2021, in Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Macedonia Baptist Church in Cochran. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Lynita, born in Hawkinsville, had lived most of her life in Yonker before moving to Macon. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base, a 1978 graduate of Dodge County High School and a graduate of ABAC. Lynita was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Justin Thompson of Macon; her daughters, Annessa Thompson and Rebekah Thompson both of Macon; her mother, Grace B. Allen of Yonker.

The family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service Thursday at Macedonia Baptist Church.
