Cochran – Madge Hill Matthews, age 94, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019, in Taylor Regional Hospital. No services have been arranged at this time.

Mrs. Matthews was born in Cochran and was the daughter of the late Garnett "G.B." and Sallie Taylor Hill. She was preceded in death by her brothers Clyde Hill and Lamar Hill and sisters, Ruth Hill Molloy, Elizabeth Hill Garvin and Anne Hill Porter.

Survivors are her daughter, Sallie Anne Matthews Blackwell of Cochran; grandson Cameron (Maili Holiman) Blackwell of Emeryville, CA; great-granddaughter Beatrice Blackwell; sister Doris Ollett of Utah and several nieces and nephews.
