Chester – Margaret W. Mullis, age 91, died Sunday, September 19, 2021, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Mullis Family Cemetery in Dodge County.

Mrs. Mullis, born in Telfair County, had lived most of her life in Chester. She was the daughter of the late David and Evie Graham Waldron and was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Mullis, her daughter, Marcia Lou Baggett, her sisters, Mary Twiggs, Jeanette Waldron and Geraldine Fischer. She was a homemaker and member of Chester Methodist Church. Mrs. Margaret loved the Lord, reading her Bible, and dearly loved all her family.

Survivors are her children, Louie Mullis and David (Rachel) Mullis both of Chester, Teresa (Charles) Arrington and Susan Mullis Mickel both of Rentz; her grandchildren, Jennifer Baggett, BoJack Baggett, Drew and Kayley Mullis, Matt Mullis and Justin Mullis all of Chester, Kiley (Tony) Karmazinas of Dexter, Brittany (Steven) Justice and Dustin Rogers of Eastman, Megan (Adam) Hobbs of Dublin, Derek Arrington and Chase Arrington of Cadwell; nineteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Tuesday at Mullis Family Cemetery.
