Margaret Foskey Williams, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret, a lifelong resident of Cochran, was the daughter of the late Clayton, Sr. and Emily Floyd Foskey. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Williams; her son, Ray Gunter; her daughter-in-law, Rhonda Tidwell and her five siblings, Louise, "Junior", Lucille, Don and Thomas. She had worked at L&H Shirt Factory and was retired from Mohawk Flooring. She was a woman of faith and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sons, Charles Tidwell Gunter of Cochran, Randy (Patsy) Tidwell of Rockledge and Scotty (Gina) Thomas of Cochran; her grandchildren, Monica (Ryan Hood) Tidwell of Canada, Daniella (Tyler Pittman) Thomas of Milledgeville and Evan Thomas of Cochran; her Fur Babies, Sheba, Sonny Boy and Honey Bear and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers are accepted but donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry St, Macon, GA 31201.

The family is at 108 West Cherry St, and will greet friends on Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home.
