Cochran – Marie Bryant Keel, age 94, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Marie had lived most of her life in Cochran. She was the daughter of the late J. Rubie and Leila Mae Hinson Bryant and was the wife of the late Freeman Keel. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Maggie Jane Bryan, Robbie Lou Bryant, Annie Ruth Gilbert, J.R. Bryant and Ronald Bryant and her stepson, James Keel. She was retired from L&H Shirt Factory and attended Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sister, Janice B. Dominque of Dublin; stepdaughter, Zandra (James) Mullis of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Royal Care (Personal Care Home), 268 GA Highway 26 East, Cochran, GA 31014.

The family is at 196 Berkley Road, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Wednesday at Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
