Cochran – Marjorie Scott “Patsy” Morton, age 81, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, in Church Home Lifespring Rehabilitation and Health Care in Fort Valley. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends after the service Friday at the cemetery.

Patsy, born in Savannah, had lived most of her life in Hawkinsville before moving to Cochran. She was the daughter of the late Joe Cecil and Marjorie Lee Scott and was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Linda Scott. She worked for The Medical College of Georgia contracted to Coastal State Prison. Patsy was a wonderful caring and loving mother. She was loved by all who knew her and was a wonderful witness for Jesus Christ, especially the inmates at Coastal State Prison. Patsy was a member of Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors are her children, Donald (Lana) Holder, Pansy (Greg) Mullis and Jay Holder; her grandchildren, Marissa (Eli) Haun, Alex Scruggs, Wesley (Grace) Holder and Jacob (Geena) Holder; her great grandchildren; her brother, Wendell (Sandra) Scott.
