Roddy – Martha Cato "Mott" Kirkpatrick, age 73, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in Bowers Cemetery.

Mott, born in Coffee County, had lived in Roddy 28 years. She was the daughter of the late Joe C. and Ruth Cooley Cato and the wife of the late Felton Lewis "Skeeter" Kirkpatrick. She was a nurse's aide having worked for Tifton Home Health and a member of Roddy Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Gabby (Robert) Quintanilla of Cochran and Troy (Louann) Owens of Irwin County; stepchildren, Dana (Brenda) Kirkpatrick of Cochran; Tonya (Keith) Pittman of Chester and Lori Kirkpatrick of Eastman; her sisters, Mary (Pete) Oden of Wray and JoAnn (Stan) Cranford of Sylvester; her brothers, Larry King of Chatsworth and Darwin Cato of Brunswick; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The family is at 1545 Empire-Chester Highway, Roddy Community, Cochran and will greet friends after the service Friday at Bowers Cemetery.
