Chester – Marvin Brown, age 78, died Monday, December 27, 2021, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in Rowland Family Cemetery in Dodge County.

Marvin was a lifelong resident of Dodge County. He was the son of the late Willis and Hettie Rowland Brown and was preceded in death by his son Tommie R. McCoy, his brothers, Melvin Brown and Harvey Brown and his sister, Helen Whitehead. He was a carpenter and a US Army Veteran.

Survivors are his son, Tony (Renee) McCoy of Danville; his sisters, Mae Roland of Eastman, Myrtle Jones of Eatonton, Evelyn Long of Jeffersonville and Hazel Brooks of Macon; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends after the service Thursday at Rowland Family Cemetery.
