Dublin – Mary Self Brooks, age 53, died Monday, August 6, 2018, at her residence, after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. in Bethesda Baptist Church in Laurens County. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mary was born and had lived most of her life in Laurens County. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Brooks Self. She was an LPN having worked at Mental Health of Dublin and Quinton's Place in Dublin. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Kelly (Michael) Wells and Amber (Paul) Williams of Dublin, Robbie Brooks of Augusta and London Brooks of East Dublin; four grandchildren; her sisters, Melinda (Jody) Martin and Jane (James) Moulton of Dexter; one niece and one great nephew.

The family is at 1045 Turkey Creek Church Road and will greet friends one hour before the service Thursday at Bethesda Baptist Church.
